Star-Crossed Lovers
I just put on Ellington's tune "Star-Crossed Lovers" from his "Such Sweet Thunder" suite. I've forgotten how beautiful it is. Playing it in Robert's big band at Mel Brown camp was one of the best musical experiences I've had. Who knew whole notes could be so satisfying.
Beautiful.
Beautiful.
Law and Order (Post 150)
So last night, well actually 4 am this morning, I watched a 15 year old Law and Order. I don't think I've ever seen one that old. Paul Sorvino and Chris Noth were the two detectives. Paul Sorvino? Who knew?
Besdies Law and Order, my current tv obsession has been the adorable movie Mad Hot Ballroom. I've seen at least part of it 4 times this week. It's going to be on again at 6 pm & I'm pretty sure I'll be watching.
Thank God!!
