Best Night Ever!!!

I'm apologizing right now for any typos or grammatical errors since I am officially drunk! I had the most fun today!! I worked at the store and everything was like normal until late this afternoon when Pancho Sanchez and his tenor & trombone players came into the store. That's right folks! I sold Pancho Sanchez a cowbell!! And he used it in his show tonight! Anyway. . .I tried to help his tenor player (Javier) find a mouthpiece & I sold "The Pat Metheny Songbook" and some Bill Evans transcriptions to Francisco, his trombonist. I told the guys that I was coming to the show & they told me to come by and say hello.

I went to the concert and met up with some people I know from Portland. Thara Memory brought his band to compete in the Gene Harris Jazz Festival and boy did they clean up! The band won everything& every person in the band got a soloist award. I met up with my friend Stephanie at the concert and we danced the whole time. It was a blast!! Pancho's band sounded great!! Afterwards I met the guys backstage and we went out for drinks; Pancho even came out! Everybody was so nice & now I have their numbers if I ever go back to LA. Pancho even told me about a great doctor to check out if I can get down there.

Maybe I'll write more tomorrow when I'm less intoxicated. I'm super tired now. Hell, I've been up since 6:15 this morning.
