Life in New York. . .

Where we'll live. . .

No, I'm not going to live under the Brooklyn Bridge.

A building like this is a little more like it.

With a room of my own like this, in which I will live for at least a year!

Some clubs where we'll be playing. . .

Who I used to dream of playing with. . .

The Bone Section of. . .

. . . the New York Philharmonic at. . .

. . . Lincoln Center where the. . .

. . . Metropolitan Opera performs.

And although I won't be playing trombone with the world's finest, I'll make sure I catch a performance every now and then.

Who I want to play with now. . .

Maria Schneider

Her Orchestra

The Courtney and Ez Jazz Orchestra

Where I will play. . .

Just like my mentor. . .

Ingrid Jensen Jon Wikan (her husband)

Ingrid, Jon and I will hang out with our good friend. . .

Benny

And when we're hungry we might eat at. . .

Yummmm! All vegetarian!

And for dessert. . .

. . . cupcakes from Magnolia's Bakery.

How we'll get there. . .

When I need to "get away". . .

Some "culture". . .

The Guggenheim

MoMA

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Alvin Ailey Dance Troupe

Carnegie Hall

Theater. This is "Sunday in the Park with George"

A few more things I'm looking forward to. . .

Living in a city that doesn't go to bed at 9 o'clock.

Getting a dog and walking it.

Owning a beautiful piano someday. Going on Dorothy Parker walking tours.
Living in a city with a rich musical history.

Hanging out with Seth. In diners. With Bears.

Reading the Times every morning (at least on Sunday).

Joining a yoga studio.

Picking out a book at the New York Public Library.

Better yet, I'll become friends with Sarah Vowell and she will read her books to me in that awesome voice of hers.
Shopping at Fairwary.

And most of all. . .

Dunkin' Donuts!!!!!
